This is awonderful opportunity to see some great show dogs as many different breeds compete in this annual show.

The show is held Saturday, May 26, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Sunday, May 27, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Night Hike – May 25

 

 Come learn what animals come out once the sun goes down. Your experience will begin with a nocturnal animal presentation followed by a walk through one of our 3 nature trails for a “critters at night” experience.

You must provide your own flashlight. Suitable for all ages, but keep in mind it gets DARK!

Hike lasts approximately one hour. Close toed shoes are required.

$5 per person (non-member) $4 per person (member).

Minimum 5 participants. Max 15 participants. Register by May 23rd by calling 239-275-3435.

Bat Kayak Tour – May 24

Do you have an interest in an ancient and important creature?  Bats are very interesting and your Florida Master Naturalist guide will tell you all about them on the kayak tour on Judd Creek.

The tour is from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 24th .

The cost is $40, which includes equipment.

Wiener Dog Racing – May 20

Join the Southwest Florida Wiener Dog Club for their Wiener Dog Races the 3rd Sunday of the month.  If you are interested in getting your wiener dog involved, bring him/her out to check out the Doggy Heaven Dog Park and meet the Wiener Dog Club – give it a try for FREE.
There is a permanent doggy race track set up to show you how much fun it is for you and your wiener dog.  Other breeds of small dogs are welcome too.

Cupcake Concert – May 19

The Southwest Florida Symphony’s Cupcake Concerts are an essential first step in introducing children to the lifelong pleasures of music. They are specially designed to introduce children and their parents to the wonders of live symphony music. Part performance, part family outing, these afternoons will spark the imagination of the whole family. Each concert includes great symphonic music, informative talks, musical demonstrations, and a chance to try an instrument at the “Instrument Petting Zoo.” The Cupcake Concert will feature the String Quartet. Admission is FREE.
