Hi there – My name is Chris and I started this blog  to inform people about events happening in my neck of the woods.  What “woods” might that be…..Southwest Florida (SWFL)   Actually, not a lot of woods where I am, but you get the idea 🙂

The main focus of this blog is Lee county and Collier county, but I will post about the other counties as well, most likely in the calendar tab.

So when I find out What’s Happening in SWFL, I’ll pass that information on to you all.  It does seem like sometimes there is nothing happening and then one weekend everyone has something going on and you can’t choose which to go to.

Southwest Florida (SWFL) encompasses a large area that includes 8 counties and many incorporated and unincorporated cities.   Many of my posts will be more focused towards Lee County, but I will include Things to Do all over Florida as well.
