Burrowing Owl Festival Feb 25, 2012

They are so cute!!!  We had several that visited our palm tree in our front planter area and now they are gone and we miss seeing them everyday…

The Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife is holding their 9th Annual Burrowing Owl Festival at Rotary Park in Cape Coral.

There are many things to do throughout the day.  There will be guided nature and bird walks, live animals, demonstrations, perch making and burrow maintenance, exhibitor’s, bus tours to active burrowing owl nests, tours of the butterfly house and the Kindness Animal Hospital’s children’s activity tent.

There is a requested donation of $5 per person over 16 years of age.  All proceeds go to help wildlife preservation and protection.
